Coloring Tress Couture Pieces

We recommend coloring our Tress Couture pieces to match your guest’s natural hair. Our human hairpieces will give you the creative freedom to create an exact match or any desired hair color. These 10 natural shades, 5 mixed dimensional tones and 4 fun colors can create endless variety.

For the best results select the color that is closest to the desired end result.

Work with a small test strand before applying color to Tress Couture products to make sure the color performs as expected on the hair. Keep in mind second hair may respond to your formulation differently due to the previous processes it has undergone.

To achieve true consistent color we recommend that you only deposit color 2-3 levels different from the original color.

We do not recommend bleaching or lightening the hair as this can compromise the integrity of the hair.

Color Applied directly onto the base of the unit will stain the mono-mesh base. Foiling to avoid the base is an option to keep color away from said material.

Suggestions to color the pieces to match your client’s hair:

Create a slight root to mimic natural hair regrowth

Add some lowlights, which will create natural dimension

Tone or Glaze to achieve an exact color

Tips

Front and Back

Identifying the front side of our Tress Couture top of the headpieces is very simple. Flip the unit over and look for a section on the perimeter of the piece that has hair hand tied to on underside of the Poly Band. Under venting is placed at the front perimeter of the unit so the edges will disappear into the hair, offering an undetectable result.

Clipping into the Hair

Teach your client to back comb their hair if they have fine hair or trouble getting the clips to securely fasten. Back combing the hair will offer the clip a sturdy base to attach to and will prevent slippage.

Placing excessive hair in the clips can create difficulty in fastening. Removing the clip and placing a smaller section of hair within the closure easily solve this.

Care

Proper maintenance is essential in ensuring the longevity of Tress Couture pieces. Please be sure to share the recommended at home maintenance and products with your guest.

Tress Couture pieces maintained as instructed will last for 6 to12 months from the date of purchase.

For cleaning we recommend:

Remove your Tress Couture piece to shampoo and condition gently, do not scrub.

Use Hotheads Clean and Smooth which is formulated specifically to nourish and revitalize second-hair.

Restore Keratin Rejuvenation can be placed in the hair wet or dry before styling

Hotheads Silky Smooth can be used as a treatment for blonde hair or hair needing hydration.

Daily wear Tress Couture should be maintained using the guidelines above every 3 to 5 days.

Sporadic or infrequently worn pieces can be maintained as needed to remove excess buildup or residue from the hair.


DO YOU HAVE A RETURN POLICY OR EXCHANGE POLICY?

Yes, we are pleased to offer a return policy on unopened hair extensions. We find that we have remarkably low return rates and we are proud of the high quality hair extensions that we offer. However, we understand that there may be a case in which you need to return or exchange your order and we are more than happy to accommodate returns and exchanges on hair extensions that have not been opened, worn or tampered with.

MAY I RETURN MY ORDER?

We are more than happy to accommodate returns on hair extensions that have NOT been opened, worn or tampered with.

You may return your Luxy Hair Extensions order ONLY if they have been unopened and not taken out of the packaging. Luxy Hair Extensions are packaged with a special golden security seal which identifies if the extensions have been taken out of the cardboard backing to which they are attached.

WHY ARE TRESS COUTURE EXTENSIONS NON-RETURNABLE IF OPENED?

Human hair extensions are considered a hygienic product. We take matters of hygiene and public safety seriously and DO NOT ALLOW opened items to be returned for the safety of all of our clients.

We are not alone; other hair extensions suppliers do not allow returns of opened items for the same reasons.

HOW DO I MAKE A RETURN?

You must contact your Sales Representative within the industry leading thirty (30) day return period. We will then issue you a Return Authorization (RMA). All Tress Couture Extensions must be shipped back unopened in the original packaging and the packaging must not be defaced in any way or a return will not be issued. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of your invoice.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING OF MY RETURN?

You are responsible for all return shipping costs and we recommend that you send your return with a tracking number because Tress Couture will not be responsible for lost returns.

Also, please indicate on package “RETURN” or your package will be returned to you.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REFUND?

A full refund will be issued to your original payment method after we have received, inspected and confirmed that the returned hair extensions were not opened and taken out of the cardboard backing.

WHAT IS THE RETURN PERIOD?

We will provide a full refund on unopened hair extensions within industry leading thirty (30) days of the date that you receive your hair extensions.

MAY I RETURN TRESS COUTURE EXTENSIONS WITHOUT CONTACTING YOU OR GETTING AN RA?

No. You must contact us prior to sending your return as our return address is different from the address we ship our hair extensions from. Also, the RA facilitates tracking of your returned product and expedites your refund.

Please note that refunds for merchandise returned without contacting us will be denied as returns cannot be accepted at our warehouse facility.
